When you use Local Bar Events, we may collect account information such as your email address, app activity such as favorites and verified check-ins, and device location when you choose to use location-based discovery or check-in features.
Location information
LBE requests foreground location only when a feature needs it, such as finding nearby events or verifying an eligible venue check-in. You can deny location permission, although location-dependent features may not work.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure LBE, operate accounts and memberships, show relevant venues and events, verify check-ins, calculate points and leaderboards, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate LBE infrastructure, authentication, payments, email, hosting, and related technical services. They process information as needed to provide those services.
Retention and account requests
We retain information as needed to operate LBE and meet legitimate business, security, accounting, and legal obligations. Some transactional or audit records may need to be retained after an account is closed. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us.
